And off to London we went! Dinner was at the Pilot Inn on Romney Marsh where we had excellent Fish and Chips. The next day we went to St. Paul's Cathedral, Guildhall, the Royal Exchange, Bank of England, Mansion House, and Jack the Ripper alleys to Leadenhall Market which is Diagon Alley for the Harry Potter fans!
Other stops were the Shard, All Hallows Church (the oldest church in London dating back to 675), Tower of London, Traitor's Gate and the Tower Bridge. We walked across the Tower Bridge to Borough Market and bought some great spices and cheese! We saw Winchester Palace, London Eye, Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey and 10 Downing Street.
We went through the Horse Guards Palace and saw the changing of the horses. Then to Buckingham Palace to see the changing of the guards. We went by Clarence house, the official residence of Prince Charles and Camilla.
We saw the smallest police station in the world and traveled on a Double Decker Bus to Piccadilly Circus. We shopped at Fornum and Mason where the Queen does her shopping - gorgeous items. And of course, Abbey Road was included......enjoy the pictures!
