It's Tulip Time in the Netherlands - April 12-14

We visited an authentic Cheese Factory for a demonstration and a Wooden Shoe Factory for a demonstration. We saw how both the cheese and shoes are made - the shoes are still worn today. Of course, we got some cheese and it was awesome.

We spent a whole day in Amsterdam. Pam had been before but Don had not. So we took a boat cruise through the canals and saw all the leaning houses and interesting house boats. Afterward we walked through the city. We walked all over. A trip through the red light district was a requirement followed by Don's comment, "I've never seen anything like that before". LOL.

The highlight was a bucket list item: The Tulips!! Stunning doesn't do it justice. They were exquisite. All the flowers was beautiful. We needed 4 hours to go through Keukenhof

After the Keukenhof flower attraction we traveled to Haarlem, a quaint little town where the Flower Parade had arrived a day before to see the beautiful floats.
